OUTBACK PILOT

The PopOut cinema built for East Timor was taken on a pilot program through Victoria, South Australia and Northern Territory.

We screened in Bright and Lake Boga in Victoria, Pipalyatjara and Amata communities in SA, Todd Mall, Alice Springs and the Natalia and Yuendumu communities in NT.

The screenings were well attended and greatly appreciated - the success highlighted the benefit of the PopOut Cinema - able to be driven and operated by a single operator, delivering large screen edutainment in the remotest of locations efficiently. With the on board battery bank, no external was required so any location in town was possible.

Films screened included locally made shorts, crowd fave The Greatest Showman and the very naughty / cheeky Hunt for the Wilderpeople!

We would love to see this Pilot become a permanent fixture on the annual calendar and will work with communities and funding bodies to try and achieve it.
